The primary purposes of the project include improvement of habitat for native wildlife and water for livestock. The ponds have not been maintained for many years and have accumulated a lot of sediment. The project is a voluntary restoration project on private land. Any standing water will be pumped out of the pond and will include a dewatering bag to prevent sediment from entering the watercourses.
