Document Description
The proposed project would result in the development of the Apple 2 Campus. The project would result in the demolition of all buildings on the site west of North Tantau Avenue, and replacement with up to 3,120,000 s.f. of office and research and development space on-site, including a four-story building comprising approximately 2,820,000 s.f., a corporate fitness center, a corporate auditorium with seating for 1,000 people, a parking structure, and a central plant that would provide on-site energy (solar, fuel cells, back-up generators, chillers, an electrical substation), water and fire pumps, and other facilities. A total of 13,000 Apple employees would be accommodated on-site. An additional 300,000 s.f. of office space may be developed as part of a subsequent phase.
