Document Description
CDFW is executing an amendment (No. 2) to Streambed Alteration Agreement Issued Pursuant to Section 1602 (SAA#1600-2011-0252-R6) of the Fish and Game Code to the project Permittee, the California Broadband Cooperative. The Permittee proposes to run 10.3 miles of fiber-optic cable from the Digital 395 backbone at the Intersection of Red Hill Road and West Line Street in Bishop, CA to the Round Valley Elementary School. The project will temporarily impact 20 ephemeral and perennial CDFW jurisdictional waterways and associated riparian vegetation; however, no permanent impacts will occur and no trees shall be removed. To conduct this work, three construction methods will be implemented including cable plowing, trenching, and horizontal directional drilling (HDD). The Permittee shall use HDD to cross any other features containing water. The conditions of the Agreement shall remain in effect.
