The proposed permit revision will allow a 9.22-area expansion of the permitted facility boundaries and a 2.12-acre expansion of the permitted waste disposal area with no changes to the maximum height of the landfill. The hours of operation would be revised to include one half hour before opening and one half hour after closing for site maintenance. No changes in the public hours of waste acceptance are proposed. The permit would also be revised to reflect a revised final grading plan as described in the amended Preliminary Closure/Post-Closure Maintenance Plan and the installation of a perimeter landfill gas monitoring system at the landfill. The estimated closure date will be revised from March 2103 to January 2077.
