Lake Sabrina Road Bridge at Middle Fork Bishop Creek Replacement Project

Replace the existing County Bridge 48C-25 with a new bridge and to realign Lake Sabrina Road as it approaches the bridge from the north. The proposed bridge would be located south of the existing bridge, and the roadway would be realigned to create a safer bridge approach. The existing bridge would be demolished and removed after construction of the new bridge. The purpose of the project is to replace the old bridge, which is susceptible to scour and is rated as "functionally obsolete," with a new bridge that is structurally sounds and meets modern structural and safety codes. The new bridge and realigned approach roadway would also provide adequate vehicular and pedestrian access to and from Lake Sabrina, located south of the proposed bridge.
