Document Description
The Mecca Senior Center would be located on a 1.9-acre property on the northeast corner of 66th Avenue and Hammond Road in the unincorporated community of Mecca, California. The site is currently vacant. The overall area of the site's buildings would total approximately 17,000 square feet, with 75 to 90 parking spaces. The senior center would contain a multipurpose hall, activity rooms, a lounge area, office space, and possibly dialysis facility. The project would also include the creation of a small outdoor park area to the west of the site across the existing Coahuilla Street. APNs:727-184-008, -009, -010, -011, -015, -016, -021, -024, -030, -031, -032, -033, -034, -035, -036, -037, & -038.
