General Exemption: CEQA Guidelines section 15061(b)(3).
The Stanislaus County Committee is required by statute to lapse the La Grange Elementary School District because it has an average daily attendance of less than six (6) students in grades 1-8. The State Board of Education has required that a lapstation of La Grange Elementary School District include its annexation into Roberts Ferry Union Elementary School District. The County Committee has no discretion. The Project does not entail development of property. There is also no possibility that the activity in question may have a significant effect on the environment. The property is not located in an area of statewide, regional, or areawide concern identified in CEQA Guidelines section 15206(b)(4).
