Document Description
The project is limited to the removal of all fill material (about 50 cu yards) and three black plastic drain pipes about 80 feet long from the upper portion of the ditch. Small excavator staged from the service road of road pack gravel conducted fill removal. Removed fill material located out of riparian area and surrounded by straw wattles. Conducted during dry season when no water in channel. Straw wattles installed in the ditch below the work area to catch any particulates. Bottom and sides of ditch covered by straw mat. Straw wattles placed at top edge of ditch to prevent sediment from entering the ditch. All disturbed areas seeded with native grasses and then covered with straw.
