Document Description
The Tehachapi District of the California Department of Parks and Recreation (State Parks) in conjunction with the County of San Bernardino fire Department (County) has identified hazardous trees within Silverwood Lake SRA. The proposed project will remove dead, dying and diseased trees resulting from bark beetle attack, water stress, and fire, to a maximum distance of 100 feet from structures within the Group Camp areas and 25 feet on each side of the main entrance road in accordance with the Department's Policy and Guidelines for the Protection of Structures from Wildland Fire - Bakken (2009). The total footprint for the proposed project is 29 acres.
