Document Description
The proposed Project would install a rock shield to protect a partially exposed gas pipe. Portions of the bed and adjacent bank would be excavated using equipment operated from Oasis Road and the adjacent farm field. The channel would be brought to grade approximately level with the top of the exposed pipe. Filter fabric would be placed, and an articulating concrete "Ercon" mat approximately 35 feet long and 20 feet wide would be installed over the fabric in the agricultural channel to cover a partially exposed gas pipe. Portions of the left and right bank would be partially excavated to install the mat.
