Document Description
This project is for the Annexation of property to PCWA's Zone No. 1 service area. PCWA is proposing to Annex Assessor's Parcel Number 023-234-054, a 2.19 acre parcel, to allow the Agency to provide treated water servicer for the Dry Creek Company (Cal Am). Cal Am is aware of this situation and has given their written support of the annexation and subsequent service of treated water, provided that all appropriate Agency and Cal Am fees are paid. Placer County has requested the annexation of the property in order to acquire treated water service. The County prepared an exemption for construction of the water service components, which evaluated potential environmental impacts associated with a new 1,132 lineal foot water line from Vineyard Road to the fire station located at 8350 Cook Riolo Road. The project will also include the installation of three fire hydrants along Cook-Riolo Road, a fire sprinkler system to the fire station and supply domestic water to the station.
