Document Description
The proposed project would install two concentrated photovoltaic panels on the site, which is in UC Irvine's East Campus as part of a renewable energy research project involving the UC Irvine School of Engineering's Advanced Energy and Power Program. The approximately 49 foot high by 72 foot wide panels would be spaced approximately 50 feet apart. Each panel would be mounted onto a 20 foot high column that supports a dual-axis tracking system.
