Document Description
UC Davis will acquire the 4875 Broadway Avenue property for use as office space and dry lab research space. The project is located at the northwest corner of the intersection of 49th street and Broadway Avenue in Sacramento. The 3.84 acre property includes a two-story building 68,000 gross square feet and parking for 235 automobiles. The building was designed for offices uses and was previously used as office space. The occupancy and utilization by UC Davis are not expected to increase the intensity of the use above the prior occupancy level. The proposed project consists of repair maintenance, and minor alterations to an existing structure and is considered categorically exempt from further CEQA review (CEQA Guidelines Section 15301). In addition, none of the exceptions for application of categorical exemption apply to this project.
