Document Description
The Project consists of the approval of a multi-year lease by the Office of the Receiver, California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) for office space to facilitate consolidation of existing administrative operations currently dispersed throughout the Sacramento area into on large building or a campus of adjacent buildings to improve coordination among programs and staff. The lease is for space within five existing office buildings (approximately 145,000 square feet) located within the Laguna Springs Drive Corporate Center on Laguna Springs Drive, City of Elk Grove, California. This lease also includes the construction of two new buildings (approximately 75,000 square feet each) that are proposed for additional office space within the Laguna Springs Drive Corporate Center off the proposed Longleaf Drive extension. The use and construction of these buildings will meet the Office of the Receiver's total combined consolidation space needs. Some of the existing office buildings have been occupied while some have remained vacant since their respective construction was completed.
