Document Description
The work to be accomplished consists of drilling 50 borings, not more than ten in the American River channel and 40 within the levee prism and levee toe. The main access to the levee and levee toe sites will be from the levee road and adjacent streets, access to the in channel borings will use existing boat ramps to launch the survey vessel. The project is necessary to complete a feasibility study (American River Commons Features General Reevaluation Project) that is being conducted by the Army Corps of Engineers the non-federal sponsor (State of California).
