The proposed project consists of an 800± square foot expansion to an existing 3,500 square foot single family residential dwelling on approximately 1.03 acres in the Garden Highway SPA (Special Planning Area) and (F) (Flood Combining) zones. A staff plan approval for the residential expansion (non-discretionary project) was originally approved by the Sacramento County Planning Department on July 31, 1992 and more recently again on February 23, 2011.
