Document Description
The proposed Project will widen SR 49 to provide left-turn channelization from SR 49 to Ashworth Road. The widening will occur on the north side of SR 49 and will cut into the existing cut slope by about 20 feet. A street light will be installed at the intersection of SR 49 and Ashworth Road. In order to accommodate the roadway widening, an existing culvert would be extended. Widening the north side of SR 49 will include extending all under-drain perforated steel pipes crossing SR 49 to the new edge of should, removing and replacing the longitudinal pipe along SR 40 to the new edge of shoulder. All work will be done within the existing right-of-way. The culvert on the unnamed creek will be extended using 18-inch Corrugated Steel Pipe (CSP). The culvert will be extended about 28 feet - 2.8 cubic yards of Rock Slope Protection (RSP), 5.3 cubic yards of site material for compaction, and 9.6 cubic yards of total fill material will be used to extend the culvert. No trees will be removed.
