Document Description
The proposed project consists of a CUP application requesting approval to modernize and reactivate the existing oil storage and transfer facilities on site of the NRG Energy Pittsburg Generating Station. The facilities (marine terminal, storage tanks, pipelines and ancillary equipment) were formerly used to store and supply fuel oil to the generating station; however, they have not been used for that purpose in over 19 years. The proposal is to modernize and upgrade these facilities in order to transport and store virgin and partially refined crude oil, and diesel.
