The project proposes replace a roadway structural section to provide eight foot paved shoulders, improve sight distance, and increase the clear recovery zone for errant vehicle; at Salt Creek each side of the existing bridge will be widened to provide 10 ft. shoulders; at Yank Creek the existing triple box culvert will be replaced with a single span bridge and the stream channel restored beneath the bridge; Shasta County.
