Document Description
A CUP for to allow for an annual "Medieval Festival of Courage" event to be held on the Christie Ranch. The project sponsor is the Coastal grove Charter School Parent Teacher Association. The two-day event will be held once every October. A maximum of 3,500 tickets will be sold for the event. Event hours will be 10 to 6PM on a Saturday and Sunday. Setup and tear down will occur the day prior and after the event as well as well as before and after operating hours on the days the event is held. There will be food vendors, art and craft vendors and music, activities and demonstrations consistent with the medieval theme. The Christie ranch is an operating farm. There are no permanent structures or paving associated with this event. The ranch is developed with two bars and a private residence. There is no grading or vegetation removal proposed. Approximately 500 parking spaces will be provided on site, overflow parking is available at the Blue Lake Casino, who will provide a shuttle to the event.
