Friends of the Dunes will work with volunteers to remove invasive European beach grass from the Lake Earl Wildlife Refuge. All work will be done by hand. This is an environmental eduction project which brings volunteers to the refuge and teachers them about the area. The beach grass removal is also part of the more comprehensive effort to restore the area as described in the Lake Earl Wildlife Area Coastal Dune Restoration Project MND.
