Document Description
The objective of the Project is to improve water quality and wetland habitat within Union Slough through the creation of conditions that are less favorable to nonnative plant species, improve natural water quality, improve emergent wetland habitat, improve water control to manage wetland conditions and reduce prevalence of nonnative, predatory species and improve bank stability and enhance riparian habitat. The project would be located upstream of an existing impoundment and would include grade enhancements, additional water control berms and water control structures (WCS), wetland and riparian plantings, and bank sloping and protection.
