Document Description
The project proposes to update the City's Master Plan of Drainage (MPD). The proposed MPD facilities include a total of 12 detention basins along various existing drainages throughout the City. Two of the 12 basins would represent an expansion of an existing basin facility. The basins would occur along six existing drainages within the City, including Chicken Springs Wash, Dunlap Channel, Oak Glen wash, Wildwood Creek, Wilson Creek, and Yucaipa Creek. The detention basins would reduce peak flow rates along each of these drainages, thereby adding capacity to the Citywide and regional flood protection system.
