Document Description
The City of Highland is proposing to construct storm drain improvements within City Right-of-Way along 3rd Street (between Palm Avenue and the 3rd Street's Easterly Terminus), Palm Avenue (between 5th Street and 3rd Street), 5th Street (Between Palm Avenue and City Creek Overflow Channel), and within Flood Control Property within the City Creek Overflow Channel (APN: 1192-541-01-0-000 and 1192-561-03-0-000). The Storm drain improvements will include reinforced concrete piping, ranging in size from 18" to 48", and 4' x 4' reinforced concrete box. 11 catch basins and laterals for an additional six catch basins to be built with future projects will be located along the length of the storm drain improvements to divert street flows into the system. The project will include the extension of two existing 3' x 7' box culverts in the City Creek Overflow Channel under 5th Street and the construction of the two new 4' x 8' box culverts adjacent to the existing box culverts.
