Document Description
CDFW is issuing a Streambed Alteration Agreement for the continued operation of an existing pit and water control structures within Redlands Canyon and the continued excavation of clay from Panamint Valley Playa (project). These activities are a part of an ongoing pit-mining operation on 2,363 acres of Bureau of Land Management (BLM)-owned land. The project was previously authorizing under Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2008-0047-R6. The project authorized under Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2013-0170-R6 will result in additional permanent impacts to 12 acres of unvegetated streambed and no additional impacts to Panamint Valley Playa.
