Document Description
The project involves completion of the D Street Fiji Wetland Restoration (D Street Restoration) component of the South Bay Substation Relocation Project (Project). The Project involves construction of a new substation and transmission lines and demolition of an existing substation. The D Street Restoration involves wetland mitigation at the D Street Fill site. As a part of the D Street Restoration, SDG&E will elevate, by 2 to 6 ft, the California least tern nesting area at the D Street Fill site with 125,000 cy of excess soil generated from creation of the wetlands.
