Baxter Ranch Conservation Easement
NOE - Notice of Exemption
A 4,036~acres conservation easement (CE) on private-owned forestlands and oak woodlands to protect typical forestland uses including wildlife habitat, watershed stabilization and continued production of forest products. The property owners will continue to operate working timber forest and cattle ranch operations. The CE will protect several threatened species by protecting natural habitat and open space.
Project Location - Specific: The property is located seven miles west of Interstate Highway (US 101) and 18 miles east of the Pacific Ocean and in proximity to the Lake Sonoma Recreational Area in northwestern Sonoma County. Assessor's Parcel Nos. (APN) 114-150-002 & 004; 114-180-002 & 004; 114-190-004; 114-250-006 & 007; 138-090-001, 002, 005, 010, 017, 022, 023, 024, 025 & 027; 138-100-019; 138-140-010, 011, 016, 017 & 022; 114-260-006 and portions of APNs: 114-240-003; 114-250-001, 002, 004, 008 & 009; 114-260-035.
