Document Description
Improve the existing facilities at East Peak Picnic Area Overlook and Verna Dunshee Trail in Mt. Tamalpais State Park to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and meet requirements in the "California State Park Accessiblity Guidelines". Work will: * Raise the existing cane detectable and wheel chair curb with stone mortar along the Verna Dunshee Trail. * Add 4 ADA parking spaces in the main parking lot, remove 3 trees to install a wooden ramp to connect the main parking lot to public use area. * Patch and fill areas on the historic building slab that is used as an ADA accessible overlook, adjust railing and replace the interpretrive panel, add and attach a table and bench.
