The project consists of activities carried out by the Shasta Mosquito and Vector Control District involving sediment removal in and around bridges, culverts, and storm drain outlets, debris and trash removal, removing vegetation, minor erosion repai, minor repai to access roads, pesticide application and related projects that reduce or remove mosquito breeding habitat in a manner that balances the water quality, biologic, aesthetic, and hydrologic values of wetlands with the need to protect human populations and animals from mosquito-borne disease.
