The proposed project is a request for a Use Permit to construct and operate a solar generation project in the unincorporated area of Yolo County. The project is proposed to locate on an approximately 32-acre agriculturally zoned parcel. The applicant, Putah Creek Solar Farms, also owns the adjoining 12-acre parcel to the south, which is adjacent to the SR 128. Both properties are currently vacant and undeveloped, and have been fallowed for at least the last 15 years. However, walnuts have recently been planted on the 12-acre parcel.
