Document Description
The proposed project would expand the existing Amtrak train station to incorporate bus passenger loading/unloading areas and provide pedestrian and bicycle connections, creating a multi-modal transit center on the northerly 1.3 acres. The project would include the construction of an approximately 400 square foot bus shelter, loading/unloading zone with platform access, additional parking (approximately 40 spaces), roundabout entry statement, and drought-tolerant landscaping. On the southerly 1.5 acres, the project would include the construction of an additional vehicle entrance and entry kiosk to the existing Coastal Dunes Recreational Vehicle (RV) Park operated by San Luis Obispo County.
