Document Description
CDFW is intending to execute a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code (1600-2008-0243-R5) to the project applicant, San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy. The project proposes to control non-native vegetation through foliar application of herbicides, mowing or hand cutting, chipping and mulching, and replanting with native species. Non-natives to be removed include, but are not limited to, arundo (Arundo donax), tamarisk (Tamarix sp.), pampas grass (Cortaderia sp.), invasive palms, perennial pepperweed (Lepidium latifoluim), acacia (Acacia sp.), and eucalyptus (Eucalyptus sp.).
