Document Description
Title Cont.: up to 754 acre-feet of Central Valley Project Water to Kern County Water Agency. (SWPAO #20012-A) The original letter agreement (SWPAO #20012) between DWR and KCWA, executed on June 3,2020, allows the conveyance of up to 7,740 acre-feet of CVP water to KCWA. This amendment (SWPAO #20012-A) increases the amount of the CVP water to be delivered to KCWA from up to 7,740 acre-feet to up to up to 8,484 acre-feet. This non-Project Water is the San Joaquin River Exchange Contractors Water Authority’s (Exchange Contractors) 2020 CVP water. The United States Bureau of Reclamation will make the CVP water available to DWR at O’Neill Forebay for DWR to deliver to KCWA’s turnout(s), on behalf of KCWA’s member unit, Semitropic Water Storage District (SWSD), for use in its service area within the CVP place of use. The delivery of Non-Project Water under this project shall be completed by December 31, 2020.
