Document Description
This project, commonly known as the 20 Sandpiper Strand Dock, involves the installation of a new dock and gangway, totaling 552 sq. ft., in the location of previous dock that was removed several years ago. The project will utilize the existing pilings and new floats for support of the dock. To address impacts to eelgrass, GlobalGrid mesh material will be used for the new dock and gangway. Additional mitigation includes monitoring of the site for two years and replanting of eelgrass at a 1:1 ratio if necessary.
