Note: Recirculated Sections
The proposed project includes the construction of a five story (maximum) approximately 110,000 sq. ft. courthouse with a basement. The new courthouse would be constructed generally in the same location as the existing courthouse. Portions of the existing courthouse of architectural relevance are intended to be preserved where feasible, while the remainder of the courthouse would be demolished. A small site behind the existing courthouse at 124 South Isabel Street will also be acquired for the related parking. This site is currently owned by the Board of Realtors. The Jewel City Bowl site, located at 135 South Glendale Avenue, is no longer being considered for acquisition.
