- The proposed project includes three components: 1) Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) Expansion; 2) Parking Lot 27; and 3) Renovation and Reuse of Existing EH&S Building. The new EH&S building would include approximately 27,265 gross square feet (gsf) of space, including about 18,674 assignable square feet (asf). Uses would include administrative/office space, a safety learning center, laboratories, and materials handling and storage for chemical, radiation, biomedical, and universal waste and building support services. A new parking lot with 50 spaces would be provided at the east end of the new EH&S building. Mall Services, currently located at the Corporation Yard, would occupy the 2,400 sf EH&S modular building after renovation. Printing & Reprographic Services, currently located off-campus, would occupy the 6,200 sf EH&S building after renovation.
