Document Description
The California Department of Public Health is a responsible agency for this project. The City of Rialto has proposed to operate a week base anion (WBA) resin pretreatment system at the City's existing Well 3 site for the purpose of a perchlorate removal demonstration. The demonstration treatment system will be integrated with the existing, single-use ion exchange system currently permitted by the Department. Wastewater from the facility will be hauled away by the tanker truck to be discharged to the Santa Ana Regional Interceptor (SARI) waste line.

The City of Rialto will be constructing a 3,157 square foot drinking water treatment system at the existing City-owned Well 3 location. The treatment facility will not expand the capacity of the existing system.
