Document Description
The project consists of the proposed Sheriff's Charity Rodeo that is planned at the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds on Saturday and Sunday, October 1-2, 2011, from 8 AM to 9 PM on Saturday and 8 AM to 6 PM on Sunday. The event is expected to attract approximately 1,500 spectators. It will have a maximum of 500 horses, but only 100 will be on the grounds at any given time. The maximum number of cattle/stock is approximately 250, but only 50 will be on the grounds at any given time. A dance event in the exisitng Crosetti Hall will be held on Saturday night. The event will occur within the Fairgrounds existing arenas and facilities; no new structures or physical improvments are proposed to accommodate the event.
