Document Description
The County of Riverside, in coordination with the California Department of Transportation (Department), is proposing to grade separate the existing Magnolia Avenue/Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) at-grade railroad crossing in Riverside County, California. The total length of the improvements would extend from approximately 500 feet west of Lincoln Street to approximately 550 feet east of Buchanan Street. The purpose of the proposed project is to improve safety, as it will remove the existing at-grade conflict between vehicular traffic and rail traffic. In addition, the proposed project would reduce the congestion and inconvenience caused by this existing at-grade facility.
