Document Description
The project would involve the demolition and reconstruction of the existing football/track stadium at its current location. Improvements associated with the reconstruction of the stadium would include regrading of the site and the installation of new drainage, utilities and fencing. Existing soils would be stripped of turf and stockpiled for use in the reconstructed facility. Construction for proposed running track and related facilities would include approximately two acres of paving within the track surface as well as the installation of other track and field related improvements. The proposed football field would be constructed of synthetic turf and would be permanently striped. A nine- lane running track would be provided. New aluminum planking for 2250 home and relocated seating for 1300 visiting spectors will be provided. New aisles and handrails would be provided to meet current accessibility codes and restroom/concession buildings would be provided to accommodate both home and visiting spectators.
