Document Description
The Tulare Lake Basin Water Storage District (TLBWSD) will transfer up to 8,000 AF of 2011 Table A Water to Westlands Water District (WWD) for landowners who farm in both District. The transfer will be completed by December 31, 2011. This proposed transfer is designed to enable both WWD's and TLBWSD's water users to better manage their respective water supplies. No lands will be fallowed as a result of the transfer and no additional groundwater will be pumped. The lands have been actively farmed in the past.

The water will be delivered to lands that have been in agricultural production for many years. There will be no change in land use.
