Document Description
Conduct forest thinning and hazard fuel reduction on 105 acres at Emerald Bay and D.L. Bliss State Parks to reduce the threat of catastrophic wildlife and improve native forest composition and structure. Work will manually forest thin, chip and pile burn on 74 acres; mechanically forest thin and masticate on 31 acres; use temporary road and landing to haul forest biomass from the project area; rehabilitate and remove after project completion. Install or maintain Best Management Practices to control erosion.
