Document Description
The project is a 1.5 foot-high broad-crested weir that has been installed to provide accurate flow measurement. A metal bridge has been constructed over the weir to allow inspection and adjustment of flashboards (see attached photograph). The structure enables the Stevinson Water District (SWD) to monitor the effectiveness of its water conservation measures and provide data needed for implementation of water transfers between SWD and other entities including federal wildlife refuges. Beneficiaries include the SWD, transfer partners and entities benefiting from SWD conservation measures.
