Document Description
Remove and replace a deteriorated pit style toilet at campsites 7, 8, & 9 on Angel Island State Park to improve sanitation, accessibility, and reduce maintenance. Work will include removal of the 5' x 5' wood frame structures and 18" diameter X 72" deep plastic vault; enlarge existing pits to 78"wide X 180" long and to a depth of 54" and line bottom of the vault pit with 4" of compacted gravel. Work will install a precast concrete watertight vault and set and seal the upper building unit to the vault. New building meets ADA specifications. No additional construction required.
