Document Description
The project is limited to the construction of an outlet from Pond 5 to allow for tertiary treated recycled water to be stored in and returned from Pond 5 to the distribution system located at the Town of Windsor's Water Reclamation Plant. Approximately 465 feet of 18-inch ductile iron pipe would be installed and intertie at the existing control box adjacent to East Windsor Creek and extend westerly between existing Pond S-1 and Pond 4. The construction would run east to west along the existing dike separating the two ponds. All work will be done to the west of the existing control box near the top of the west bank of East Windsor Creek. Trenching and excavation for the outlet structure and piping will be essentially vertical and will be braced by shoring to ensure support of the existing adjacent dikes. This new outlet piping would allow treated water stored in Pond 5 to be released directly to the Town's transfer pump station for use in the Town's recycled water system. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2011-0113-R3 is pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1602.
