Document Description
To deliver up to 19,000 acre-feet of CLWA's approved SWP water supplies to KCWA in Reach 12E of the California Aqueduct. In exchange, KCWA will return a portion of its future approved SWP water supplies equal to fifty percent of the total amount delivered to KCWA, up to 9,500 acre-feet, to CLWA in Reach 30 of the California Aquaduct. CLWA and RRBWSD agreed to a two-for-one water exchange. Under the proposed water exchange program, for every two acre-feet of CLWA's water delivered to RRBWSD, RRBWSD will return one acre-feet of its portion of KCWA's future approved SWP water supplies. The return of water to CLWA shall be completed by December 31, 2021.
