Document Description
SAA #1600-2011-0075-R3 Removal of two existing 30-foot-long, 24-inch metal culverts and replacement of the culverts with a single 48-inch concrete pipe. The sacked concrete headwall will be removed, and after installation of the new culvert, compacted 3/4 base rock will be installed. Native soil will be installed on top of the rock and compacted, and the road surface (3/4 base rock topped with asphalt) will be restored. A 3-foot by 2-foot trench will be keyed into the stream bed at the downstream mouth of the culvert, and approximately 100-square feet of rock riprap will be installed around the culvert to protect against bed and bank erosion.
