Document Description
The purpose of this project is to install interpretive wayside panels and display case kiosks for visitor safety information and public education. There will be six interpretive wayside panels at four locations along park trails with frequent visitor use and fourteen display case kiosks at fourteen existing bathroom building sites. All panel and kiosk locations are to be erected in disturbed areas.
The approximate size of the interpretive wayside panel holders is 4' wide and 3' tall. There are two 4"x2" metal legs that support each panel wayside holder, and each leg will require a hole less than 12" in diameter and 24" deep in the ground. Cement will be deployed to secure the metal legs. the holes will be dug by either hand tools or a power auger.
The approximate size of the display case kiosks is 4" long, 4" wide and 8' tall. There are 4" to 6" square wooden posts that support each display case kiosk, and each post will require a hole about 12" in diameter and 24" deep dug into the gournd.
