Document Description
Gravel will be placed on approximately 16 miles of levee roads to allow vehicular access to the area to safely patrol the area for potential flood issues and to access the areas during flood emergencies to facilitate flood-related repairs. These levees are all part of the federal San Joaquin River Flood Control Project. These levees protect property, infrastructure, government facilities, and habitat in the Central San Joaquiin Valley. The levee roads are maintained annually and gravel is added to the roads on an as needed basis.
