Document Description
The project includes installation and operation of an Arsenic Removal Treatment Plant. The water from wells containing Arsenic, Iron, and Manganese will be chemically treated with sodium hypochlorite and ferric chloride prior to entering a filter vessel. The filtered water will be treated with Sodium Hydroxide. The filter backwash water will be discharged to a reclaim tank. The supernatant from the reclaimed tank will be recycled back to the plant headworks. After all backwash water from the reclaimed tank is recycled, sludge containing Arsenic, Iron, and Manganeses will be pressed into a landfill disposible filter-cake. Total flow rate for the treatment plant will be 600gpm.
